Alkaline Water Co., Inc. (OTCBB:WTER) Stems Losses, Adds 13%

After three days of selling, the Alkaline Water Co., Inc. (OTCBB:WTER) reignited some buying interest, to the tune of about $1.5 million. WTER added more than 13% to stand at 57 cents, and as it seems the 50-cent price was considered a relatively accessible position. WTER0310.png

WTER has no new promotions or PR releases, except for the regular reappearance of its claims on investors’ forums. Five-stars reviews are still appearing on the Amazon.com sales page, with several bottles sold- WTER will have a long way to go to achieve good financial results. The reviews still come in sounding much like the company’s press releases, and most come from users who have no other reviews on their profiles. TQLA0310.png

The contents of the most active investors’ forum are mostly taken by reiterations of the WTER message, day after day. Now, the question remains whether WTER continues to find support, or it crashes outright. By our experience, companies that provide regular noise manage to keep up without the typical losses of above 95% for riskier penny stocks. So for WTER, things may be painful, but the ticker may continue to offer hope from time to time.

For now, investor forums also contain hopes of a big reversal and a higher peak than during the very active and widespread promotion. This is not unusual, as some stocks gain despite the lack of promotional attention. But WTER manages to call high trading volumes, so this may help the stock. Also, the WTER report is available on a few landing pages, where it may still attract new attention.

We don’t know where WTER would go, but the Montalvo Spirits, Inc. (OTCBB:TQLA) stock that we are also looking at is sliding down further. TQLA is back to the recent lows around 30 cents, after two upward trends did not manage to devGRLT0310.pngelop and the ticker slid back.

As for GrillIT, Inc. (OTCMKTS:GRLT), the restaurant chain is very far from the levels at the peak of the promotion, but are making a minor attempt at recovery at around $1.40.

For now, WTER hinges on the level of interest that investors would be able to provide. While a lower price encourages buying, there is also the possibility of short selling. If you find a bargain price, keep in mind that WTER is volatile and may wipe out a large percentage of the investment, especially at critical days- Fridays and Mondays, where selling and reversals often happen.
