Hot Shot Stocks Engaged to Pump Oriens Travel & Hote (PINK:OTHM)

2OTHM_chart.pngHot Shot Stocks’s latest promo shot is an international operator of … hotels. Indeed, the stock in question is Oriens Travel & Hote (PINK:OTHM) and it has whetted the promoter’s appetite mostly because of its current sub-penny status. Whoever the third party behind the pump minght be, they are hardly satisfied with the current state of affairs on the market, though.

One hour into today’s session, OTHM shares have done nothing to justify the promotional effort by Hot Shot Stocks. Indeed, OTHM opened trade at their previous close of $0.0025 per share and haven’t moved one iota even though 0.5 million shares of OTHM stock have already changed hands. That being said, the promotion’s potential could safely be deemed exhausted already as paid pumps typically work out within the very beginning of the corresponding session.

OTHM pretends to be operating a huge hotel network all over the world. What is more, the company ‘s vision is to become one of the premier hotel brand operators in the world. If that were really the case, however, why is OTHM stock currently quoted at a sub-penny level and why does its market cap barely hit $338 thousand? These are good questions that must be forwarded to OTHM‘s management.

In fact, OTHM has been striving to turn into a leading hotel network operator for more than 7 years now. Yet, what we see when we draw the line are a number of less than stellar indicators:

  • $424 of savingsOTHM_HQ.jpg
  • more than $2 million of receivables comprising 99% of the company’s total current assets
  • neat headquarters, yet by no means indicative of the company’s real business (see accompanying picture)
  • net loss quarterly of $40 thousand
  • aggregate loss of $1.8 million.

The facts mentioned above hint at yet another managerial problem related to the company’s current assets. The latter are almost entirely comprised by accounts receivable, which means that in the event of delayed payment (or no payment at all), OTHM shall face grand financial troubles.

In a nutshell, OTHM shares obviously do not look attractive enough for investors as the latter are more or less unwilling to acquire huge stakes in the company. Not to mention Hot Shot Stock’s notorious promotional past which has had a lot of adverse influence on other promoted stocks.
