Stock Stars Touting InterAmerican Gaming Inc (PINK:IAGM)

iagm_chart.pngInterAmerican Gaming Inc (PINK:IAGM) may not be making material information publicly available, which is why it is currently a “STOP” sign bearer on the OTC marketplace. Ironically enough, that makes it the perfect candidate for a pump job and promoters Small Cap Power and Stock Stars have made sure to try to get the most of the situation.

Indeed, IAGM is being promoted by the pumpers mentioned above. While the former have disclosed no compensation details whatsoever, the latter revealed to have been paid $3,000 by third party 1830012 Ontario Ltd to spread the word about the stock among as many investors in pennyland as possible. Penny stocks are typically vulnerable to artificial market manipulations such as paid pump jobs and the mere fact that IAGM is keeping a closed-door policy for quite a while only adds fuel to the promotional flames.

Why do we think so? Because your, as well as everyone else’s access to comprehensive company data is now restricted, which in turn dramatically limits the opportunities to defy all the pompous statements laid out in the promotional emails. For all that’s worth, IAGM pretends to be a digitech company developing a social gaming platform designed to improve the health condition of the people utilizing it. Unfortunately, the company has deemed it not necessary to bother us with up-to-date financials, which is why its overall state has been untraceable since the end of 2009.

Surprisingly or not, investors do not appear to have a vested interest in the stock today regardless of the paid pump. Halfway through the session, a total of 200 thousand shares of common IAGM stock have changed hands, yet the price of the stock has not made an iota of difference in comparison to its opening quote. The lacklustre market performance IAGM has put on so far leaves little room for surprises from now on, which more or less renders the promotion as useless.

Ironically enough, we would easily reach to the same conclusion if we cast a glance at Stock Stars’s historical record containing a comprehensive list of their past promotional records. You will be surprised to see how many of these penny stocks tanked shorty after the promotional hype was over.
