VuMee, Inc. (OTC:VUME) Turns Bad, Preferred Penny Stocks Still Hopeful

We expected a nice long climb, but instead the graph of VuMee, Inc. (OTC:VUME) took a U-turn to pre-promotion levels, slumping on low-level selling. The latest email came on Tuesday, but hardly affected the ongoing downward trend. Preferred Penny Stocks explained the fall by the activity of “weekend warrior” investors which decided to cash in after the long weekend. VUME0123.png

The pumpers still claim the company has underlying potential for progress, a successful presence on the Internet and an access to a billion-dollars market. The VuMee website claims a great increase in visits, and the group has developed its own software which it counts toward the assets. Still, the ticker may not move the way the pumpers promised. Formerly Paperworks, Inc., VuMee is among the many companies promising to monetize online traffic and offer a platform for celebrity self-promotion.

Recently, the company announced new results, which show some improvement in revenues and a tightening of the expenses:

  • $1578 cash, down from $30,297 cash for previous period
  • $1 million total liabilities, up from $648,216 total liabilities
  • $15,000 revenues

Another perk from Preferred Penny Stocks is the prediction that VUME is attractive enough for a big buyer, which would boost both stock price and business opportunities. However, we won’t believe this until we see the buyout materialize.

Strangely enough, the past press releases of VUME have disappeared and now the information for adding new celebrities to the list of online videos can be read only from promotional mailing. The PR articles are still circulating in other sources, but were scrubbed from the Yahoo Finance page.

Preferred Penny Stocks is a heavyweight in promotions, with the usual budget of $500,000. Its promotions run long and almost every time turn sour once the ticker is abandoned. The VUME pump started on January 9th, the first pick for the new year. Having the example of PacWest Equities, Inc. (PINK:PWEID), we may still expect Preferred Penny Stocks to persuade enough investors and send the stock of the video and advertising website on another spike. Before you decide to ride out the rough spots of VUME or any other stock, make sure you estimate your own taste for risk and the acceptable level of losses.
