Accretive Health, Inc. (OTCMKTS:ACHI) Blasts Off
[[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 1]]Accretive Health, Inc. (OTCMKTS:ACHI) hasn’t had a very pleasant run so far this year. The ticker crashed in July and lost quite a lot of its altitude. After slowly regaining some value we saw the ticker come sliding down below the $2 per share mark.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Let’s not forget, however, that [[tagnumber 6]]ACHI[[tagnumber 7]] isn’t your typical OTC marketplace listed company. The company has an actual business and is generating significant numbers. In fact, most of the contents of its financial filings are quite a sight for an OTC entity. Here is a quick example from the balance sheet for the third quarter.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 11]] [[tagnumber 12]]cash: $137 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]current assets: $256 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]current liabilities: $382 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]revenues: $15 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 12]]net loss: $32 million[[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 22]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Quite impressive, but so is the market cap. It seems that the latest news were received positively by the investor community, because [[tagnumber 6]]ACHI[[tagnumber 7]] climbed some 39.50% yesterday. The upward run pushed the ticker to $2.79 per share and the market cap went above $300 million. The 2.12 million shares that were traded during the session generated $6 million in daily dollar volume.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]It seems that [[tagnumber 6]]ACHI[[tagnumber 7]] might climb even higher, as it is already sitting at the $3 per share mark as of the writing of this article. Still, you should be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out all the risks before putting any money on the line.[[tagnumber 2]]
