America Resources Exploration Inc (OTCBB:AREN) Gets Cut Down To Size
America Resources Exploration Inc (OTCBB:AREN) was on the very verge of breaking the dollar mark by the end of Thursday’s trading session, but Friday brought a painful correction that brought it down to $0.861 once more.
The PR that AREN published that day hit the web too late to save its descent – indeed, it may well have been issued in a desperate attempt to keep the ticker on course to the top of the charts. Whether said attempt has any hope of succeeding is uncertain, but at this point in time, that does not seem likely. Why?
Because what we’re currently seeing on AREN‘s charts is the end result of a prolonged and extensive paid pump campaign. Nearly a quarter of a million dollars has been put into the last 30 paid pump e-mails that have hit investor inboxes so far – which is a staggering amount by today’s standards indeed.
However, as we all know, paid pumps lose their potency over time, and when that inevitably occurs the results are almost always horrifying. This particular campaign has been going on long enough to warrant a terrible crash all the way to the bottom of the charts any day now, which is why it doesn’t seem likely that an optimistic piece of PR will be enough to turn this tide.
Of course, that is not to say that investors can’t still make money out of trading AREN – the attempt at recovery that followed the ticker’s disastrous red opening on Friday proves that this is quite possible to pull off – at least in theory. In practice, to try doing so would be extremely risky, as one miscalculation or stroke of ill luck can spell disaster for the investor attempting that.
