American Green, Inc. (OTCMKTS:ERBB) and Awkward Pot Humor
Over the short post-Thanksgiving trading session on Friday, there was little excitement to be had on the OTC marketplace. American Green, Inc. (OTCMKTS:ERBB) closed up after a spike minutes before the closing bell. Just over 8 million ERBB shares changed hands and the ticker closed at $0.0129 per share.
The company is still in a dire financial condition, with nearly $3.5 million in convertible debt, waiting to get turned in shares priced at a massive discount from market levels, no matter where the price goes, due to the fixed percentile discount provisions. ERBB still has its measly $60 thousand in quarterly revenues on its last report and still has not posted any meaningful news concerning its Mach 2 Zazzz machine – the technological miracle that should make the company a relevant player in the world of pot stocks.
Indeed, it looks as though ERBB is more of an apparel company than a medical marijuana business at this point. The company put up a new Facebook post through its official profile, inviting people to buy American Green branded apparel, which, unlike the Zazzz Mach 2, is currently available.
The more awkward part of the same post is the picture and accompanying text. The photo is a small patch of pot in the middle of a tall cornfield, and the caption reads: “Day 83. They still think I am corn.” Disturbingly, ERBB decided to garnish that with “We won’t tell if you won’t tell!” We will leave it to our readers to decide how suitable it is for a publicly traded medical marijuana company to make cheesy jokes about growing illegal cannabis.
ERBB has about 10 days to deliver on its latest promise to have actual Zazzz Mach 2 machines out in various dispensaries. The latest word investors got on this was that the alleged new orders would be fulfilled in ‘early December’.
