First Titan, Corp. (OTCBB:FTTN) Still Makes Waves
First Titan, Corp. (OTCBB:FTTN) continues its upward trend, though it slowed down on Tuesday. The ticker added more than 13%, still a robust growth, to reach $1.84 on the day. Dollar volumes were just above $1.02 million. FTTN moves on inertia after Monday’s press release, and it is still unknown how much the momentum will keep, and if it will vault over the mid-week mark.
But one thing is for sure, the more FTTN climbs, the riskier it gets, since it is a company of big promises, boosted by PR. Luckily, FTTN is not rising on an email promotion, since those tend to end in a quick cutoff, hurting the share price at the end.
Investors’ forums are wildly optimistic, with $2.50 visualized as a close possibility for this oil and gas company. Still, despite the technological promises FTTN has earned less than a regular gas station for many quarters, and the latest peak buying is more of a disproportionate anomaly. There are also expectations that FTTN will be facing a test soon, since there is little logic behind the recent rise, and too many shares were bought up in a single day, with a possibility to unload at any moment deemed profitable.
FTTN uses a widespread approach among penny stocks, an appeal to hot and much-demanded commodities. Currently, among the most promoted commodity stocks is Tungsten Corp. (OTCMKTS:TUNG), which despite the promotions is on a long sliding trend. TUNG currently stands at 15 cents, with no indications of when it could bottom out, having slid from robust $1 levels, supported by loud promises of a future business.
And Blue Earth, Inc. (OTCMKTS:BBLU) was a high-runner while it posted enough press releases, reaching as high as $3.80. Now, the ticker drifts at around $3.10, with minor setbacks. The company offered to occupy a leading position in carbon footprint trading, but all it managed was a good run that must have pleased investors, and a long sideways drift.
If you still believe you can safely ride the wave for FTTN, it is still best to avoid unaffordable investments as the shares move into even more expensive positions. Sooner or later, the crash will come, so choose your time horizon well.
