Goff Corp (OTC:GOFF) Gets a Paid Tout Report
Yesterday, Goff Corp (OTC:GOFF) got an initiation report from a Murphy Analytics (MA). The “independent investment research firm” has been paid $5.5 thousand in advance and gave GOFF an “estimated 12 month price potential” of $4.00 per share.
Paying some analyst to write a report with an outrages price target for a penny stock isn’t a new trick, and sometimes it can get a stock a short spike. Not all of those “analysts” keep a comprehensive history, but MA does, and it doesn’t look particularly well.
GOFF isn’t the first Awesome Penny Stocks (APS) pump job to get a tout report from MA. In January, the same “analyst” covered World Moto, Inc. (OTC:FARE). For $5 thousand, he gave FARE an estimated price potential of $1.20. At the time of the report FARE was trading around $0.14. Yesterday it closed at $0.06.
It seems MA is quite comfortable giving high prices for pump jobs. Several days after the FARE report, he initiated Global Resource Energy Inc. (PINK:GBEN) and gave his estimate at $0.25 per share. At the time GBEN had a pump campaign going and it was trading around $0.05. Yesterday GBEN closed at $0.023.
There are quite a few other examples, and it may be a good idea to check them out before placing any reliance on the MA report on GOFF.
Meanwhile, GOFF has issued yet another press release about their exploration plans. Again, there is no word on how they plan to fund their operations.
