Green Innovations Ltd. (OTC:GNIN) Gets a New CEO
The new CEO of Green Innovations Ltd. (OTC:GNIN) is Philip C. Rundle. Mr. Rundle joined the strategic advisory board of GNIN a little over a month ago, on March 7. The new press release is an almost identical copy of the one about the advisory board appointment, including some of the quotes.
Former CEO Bruce Harmon is not out of the picture, as he will still be CFO of GNIN. Mr. Harmon has had extensive experience as CFO in a number of other OTC companies, including Omni Ventures, Inc. (PINK:OMVE), and eLayaway, Inc. (PINK:ELAY).
He is no stranger to seeing a company run into the ground. Mr. Harmon was Interim CEO, CFO and Director of OMVE between Nov. 26, 2011 and Dec. 31 2012. In that period OMVE went from around $0.35 to about $0.10, then at the time Mr. Harmon left the company the price was below a penny.
Mr. Harmon held and still holds a number of positions in ELAY which is now trading close to the very bottom at $0.0002 per share. Both ELAY and OMVE had been hyped up by paid pumps and fluff press releases.
Investors Alliance and the rest of the newsletters in the group touting GNIN just emailed about the news. The pumpers maintain that “…GNIN continues toward $5.62 and beyond.”
The numbers for Q1 aren’t due for another month or so, and until then, the company can boast and issue as many fluff press releases as they want. Whether Philip Rundle can get GNIN beyond self-touting and underwhelming financial statements remains to be seen. Mr. Rundle’s experience seems impressive, but will it be enough?
