Harbor Island Development Corp. (OTC:HIDC) Next Victim of Pumpers Victory Mark
After abandoning their previous target as it crashed, stock pumpers Victory Mark Corp LTD latched themselves to their newest victim – Harbor Island Development Corp. (OTC:HIDC). This time, however, it looks like things are going to be much worse than with Victory Mark’s previous pump – Goff Corp. (OTC:GOFF).
The touts for HIDC started on April 15, sent through Victory Mark’s offshoots Penny Stock Heroes and Select Penny Stocks, disclosing their usual compensation of $500 thousand, and brought the stock to life on heavy volume trading. The disturbing red flags around the stock however, are so many, that after a 205% climb on Monday, HIDC started a slow descent.
We should probably start with the company’s S-1 registration statement. This document lists Carrillo Huettel LLP as the legal counsel who served to launch the company. Carrillo Huettel happens to be the name of the law firm involved in several of the worst pump jobs of 2012. In late November the firm closed its U.S. offices and reportedly fled the country. In March 2013 the Securities and Exchange Commission levied charges against Carrillo Huettel for participation in “an international ‘pump-and-dump’ scheme”, calling Luis Carrillo and Wade Huettel “central participants in the scheme”.
The same name appears in HIDC‘s S-1 statement. And HIDC is being actively pumped by the same promoters who previously touted other companies related to the Carrillo Huette law firm, such as Pub Crawl Holdings, Inc. (OTC:PBCW) – the pump crash that ended 2012 with a huge bang and placed a hole in the wallets of many investors, with its chart on the bottom right.
HIDC changed control on April 3, transferring to Mr. Chuck Anton the positions of sole board member, CEO, CFO, treasurer and secretary, as well as 66% ownership of the company, paid for with the sum of $15 thousand. On the very next day Mr. Anton issued 110 million shares in an agreement to buy the rights to a piece of software from himself, or rather from BrandSeed, Inc. – an entity that Mr. Anton ‘owns and operates’, as the 8-K from the previous day states.
In closing, here is a photo of HIDC‘s principal executive office – a quaint residential house in a quiet and picturesque corner of Virginia.
With a whole lot of red lights flashing in traders’ faces, everyone who gets burned on this one will have only themselves to blame.
