Hopes for Future Revenues Prop Xumanii, Inc. (OTCMKTS:XUII)

Sometimes a little bit of hope goes a long way. After Xumanii, Inc. (OTCMKTS:XUII) came up with an optimistic press release on Friday morning, the stock climbed 6% in the session.

XUII announced that they have successfully implemented a banner overlay for their web-based player that they use to broadcast live performances. Despite the fact that the company has allegedly been broadcasting for about a year now, this announcement implied the hope that now those shows could bring a revenue stream into XUII‘s coffers.

This seems to have been a sufficient glimpse of hope for both pump players and investors, as share volume on Friday remained significant. Curiously, after XUII was tossed around and pumped by both Victory Mark and Awesome Penny Stocks, neither of the promoter outfits followed the press release from the company with another round of tout mails, with only one rogue promoter sending an email over the weekend.

The fact that traders can still get excited about XUII could mean that the current attempt of the stock to retrace its May highs may run for a while longer. The first series of supposedly revenue-generating broadcasts from Xumanii should be the live performances of hip-hop artist Mac Miller scheduled for this month. It remains to be seen what advertisers, if any, XUII managed to attract.

Other companies that shifted significant dollar volume on Friday include Nano Tech Entertainment, Inc. (OTCMKTS:NTEK) who moved over 18 million shares during the session, climbing in the process. Imageware Systems, Inc. (OTCMKTS:IWSY) also closed 14% up on dollar volume of $2.5 million.
