iTalk, Inc. (OTCBB:TALK) Chrystal Financial Pump Continues
Italk, Inc. (OTCBB:TALK) continues to talk about upcoming products and efficient production, although the ticker slid 9.29% on Tuesday, standing at 83 cents. TALK slid more significantly after the end of the last promotional effort in the middle of May.
The latest email came in early on Wednesday, and the beginning of the session will show how far the reaction will go, and if the small rising trend will resume. This is an unknown compensation mail from the National Traders Association, another promoter picked up by paying party Chrystal Financial, LLC. The TALK ticker received 17 promotions this may, costing $50,000 in total. The paying party so far is only dealing with TALK, with no other history of past promotions.
TALK has been our long-time acquaintance, a company never tiring of touting its products, yet which moves mostly based on press releases and promotions. The latest stand around 83 cents is not a peak, but there are signs that the promotional efforts may continue, lifting up TALK further.
The latest press releases promise that TALK is advancing the design of its iPod Touch sleeve design- a generally simple accessory that is receiving undeserved attention in a press release. It is unknown how the sleeve, a ubiquitous accessory, will prove revolutionary for TALK.
The company also promises to deliver an Apple store application allowing voice calls over an internet connection, thus using a phone plan more economically. But all of those products and potential developments will never have the direct and simple effect of paid hype. Even the press releases are not that unusual for penny stock companies, many of which create minor apps to sell on the Apple store. Those simple apps are then touted as an amazing business partnership with Apple, and a potential source of great income.
The case of TALK resembles that of Mimvi, Inc. (OTCMKTS:MIMV), a creator of an app search engine. The ticker was heavily promoted, but its product was not truly original. After the promotion ended, MIMV entered a long slide. ImageWare Systems, Inc. (OTCMKTS:IWSY) is another technological riser that is having a moment for reflection, as it came up with a very steep trend in the past few trading days.
The tech industry is fertile ground for penny stock companies, as the promises for future technologies sound legitimate and potentially lucrative. But it is best to stay away from those self-imposed stars of the internet, as gadget and tech producers rarely prosper, and usually slide when the promotion time is over.
