OriginOil, Inc. (OTCMKTS:OOIL) Jumps Higher on Artificial Hype
The paid promotion of OriginOil, Inc. (OTCMKTS:OOIL) still continues with full force. By now more than 30 promotional emails have come in our inbox and even though the ticker closed Wednesday’s session in the red it managed to gain a decent amount in value yesterday.
Yesterday, OOIL started the session gapped up at $0.30 per share and the day continued with big jumps in value followed by relapses before the final hour and a half, when the price started rising rapidly and we saw an increase in trades.
In the end of the day OOIL closed the session with a decent gain of 23.33%, priced at $0.3515, recording a peak of the day at $0.36. The total amount of traded shares was well above their average with 643 thousand switching their owners and helping the stock register $205 thousand in trade value.
This is the result of the paid promotional campaign that is being carried out by several newsletters for compensations ranging from $2000 tho $15000. Some of the most recent emails came from OtcbbJournal, who joined the bandwagon of email promoters after the research report they published for the company, for which OOIL paid $1250.
Among the other newsletters touting OOIL were PennyStockParlay, HoleinOneStocks, HSP Team, Phd-Trading and MicroCapDigest. We can see that the recent picks of these newsletters included Green Endeavors Ltd. (OTCMKTS:GRNE) and Pulse Network, Inc. (OTCBB:TPNI), whose promotions went relatively bad and both stocks are currently dropping.
It won’t come as a surprise if the outcome of OOIL‘s promotion turns out to be the same, but we urge you to do a lot of due diligence and weigh out the risks if you have any thoughts of investing in them.
