Pacific Clean Water Technologies, Inc. f/k/a Unseen Solar, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PCWT) Surging on Hype
Pacific Clean Water Technologies, Inc. f/k/a Unseen Solar, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PCWT) had an impressive trading session on Friday, fueled by the continuing efforts of Awesome Penny Stocks (APS) and Victory Mark.
PCWT closed up 13.33% at $0.255 per share. The volume was approximately 15.3 million shares – the second highest, dwarfed only by the 94 million on the fist day PCWT was publicly announced as the latest pick of APS and Victory Mark.
The company itself is also trying to contribute to the hype buildup. The company has issued four press releases since the pump started on Sept. 18. None of them provides anything particularly impressive as information, but they all can generate some hype.
The last two releases state that PCWT is working on improving its services. Details are sketchy and there is virtually no mention on any due dates or potential effects on the business of the company. One could wonder what warranted the issuance of those announcements.
The latest email from APS is titled “3 Reasons to Buy PCWT Tomorrow Morning – Major Report Inside.” The first reason appears to be the all-time favorite of APS – the short squeeze. The pumpers were blabbering about “shorts” in connection with Xumanii International Holdings Corp, (OTCMKTS:XUII) up until the very end. The chart should give traders a good idea of how that worked out.
The second reason simply doesn’t make much sense. APS says “more clients, more partners, more to come?” However, the press releases don’t mention any new clients, just continuing work with old ones.
The third reason according to the pump email is that PCWT is supposedly cheap compared to other stocks in the industry. The pumpers give a few companies listed on the NYSE and Nasdaq as an example. While it’s true that their market caps are in the billions, it’s also true that their quarterly revenues measure in the hundreds of millions of dollars. They are simply on very different levels to be suitable for an objective comparison.
It’s not clear how long or how high the current surge can go, but it should be pretty obvious that it’s driven by the pump job. PCWT can provide pump players with some opportunities to make a quick profit. Still, those who don’t get out in time will get burned.
