Petrotech Oil & Gas Inc (OTCMKTS:PTOG) Relying on Pumps
Yesterday the stock of Petrotech Oil & Gas Inc (OTCMKTS:PTOG) started good at $0.18, but then went down. The fall, however, didn’t make that much of a difference as the stock managed to stop its price exactly at $0.15 which was the price they closed at the previous day.
Yesterday a lot of paid newsletters were touting PTOG. The pump campaign, however started after market close and we expect it’s effects to show in today’s trade session. A total of around 10 emails were sent touting PTOG‘s stock after there were over $60 thousand distributed between them for the promotion.
And the story repeats itself. By that we mean that PTOG are paying for their own promotions again. Four of the promoters, namely StockBomb, StockLockandLoad, Stock Rock and Roll and ResearchOTC were given a total of $25 thousand to distribute the exact same message. We all know that ResearchOTC is as fake a name as it can get because, because the promoters are not investment advisors, but rather advertisement companies that do absolutely no research and say what they are told to.
Another of the paid promoters MomentumOTC was compensated $5 thousand for touting PTOG and PennyStockLocks were given $15 thousand to distribute the same message as Momentum. It all seems really bad as PTOG didn’t even think of going through the trouble conceal the fact that they are paying for the pump of their own stock.
As we stated in our previous article about PTOG the fact that they are paying for the pump is probably the most disturbing fact that should be a red flag for investers. By default all promoted stock’s undergo this treatment in order for insiders to dump stock and are usually paid by the company itself. However, other companies at least pay through third parties linked to some of the insiders or the company and we need to do a bit more research to find the connection.
In this case it’s as clear as it can get. PTOG seem to be very desperate and are paying for the promotion themselves in order to squeeze as much as they can from their stock so be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out the risks before you decide to invest in them.
