Pharmacyte Biotech Inc. (OTCMKTS:PMCB)’s Pump Goes Bad Again
Pharmacyte Biotech Inc. (OTCMKTS:PMCB)’s slide was interrupted for an all too brief period of time, but now the ticker is glowing red again.
Pumped-up OTC Markets tickers tend to crash horribly – that’s just how things happen on this exchange. The main difference between a successful pump and a dud, is that a “good” pump can manage to make the inevitable crash happen after an explosion of volatility.
Since PMCB seems to be the most heavily promoted ticker on the whole exchange, with over 160 promotions in the last six months, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that it has had its fill of both successful pumps and tragicomic promotional failures.
Unfortunately for opportunists who still want to make money trading PMCB, paid pumps lose their effect over time, and since PMCB has been on the receiving end of promotions non-stop for months, at this point investors seem unmoved by PMCB pumps – which is why the ticker kept searching for rock bottom.
In the end, it was the announcement that PMCB is to be featured in Discovery Channel’s “NewsWatch” that brought investors back this time around, but it was clear from the get-go that their interest in PMCB would only last for as long as the news was hot. As soon as that moment passed, the hype dissipated and the magic was gone with it – and now the ticker is sliding back to the bottom of the charts once more.
And, truth be told, with PMCB‘s history and current state being what it is, there’s a good reason for the slide and a good chance that said slide will continue for the foreseeable future.
