Premier Brands, Inc. f/k/a Tracksoft Systems Inc (OTCMKTS:BRND) Could Prove Costly
In the past three sessions Premier Brands, Inc. f/k/a Tracksoft Systems Inc (OTCMKTS:BRND) has seen some unusual trading activity. The main catalyst seems to be an announcement of the launch of Denis Rodman’s Bad Boy Vodka.
As controversial as Mr. Rodman may be, BRND‘s performance and history go beyond that, into suspicious. In each of the previous three sessions the traded volume has exceeded the 52.9 million shares which is supposedly the number of outstanding shares (OS).
In the last session alone, more than 172 million shares changed hands, and that’s more than triple the aforementioned OS. This may be one of the reasons for BRND to ultimately close the session down 25.81% at $0.0115.
Traders should keep in mind that at the time of its latest financial report, BRND had convertible notes for more than $1 million at a conversion price of $0.007 per share. It’s theoretically possible that since then, about 200 million shares have been issued.
Additionally, BRND has a history of being featured in paid pumps which have resulted in huge losses for those who bought in. Not to mention, BRND has been found guilty of participating in a spam email Pump and Dump campaign.
Today BRND is supposed to file it’s quarterly for the period ended May 31, 2013. It may shed some light on the actual OS and other details which could be of interest to traders.
On Fridya, BRND was near the top of the most active OTC stocks, alongside current big pump schemes like Xumanii Inc (OTCMKTS:XUII) and Arch Therapeutics Inc (OTCBB:ARTH), and it can prove costly for those who bought the hype.
