Pumpers Try to Bring Green Endeavors, Inc. (OTCMKTS:GRNE) Back to Life
Green Endeavors, Inc. (OTCMKTS:GRNE) rarely sees an active trading session. The ticker has mostly been forgotten sitting at $0.008 – a little less than cent. But apparently that is no deterrent when newsletters are looking for a pick and today three of them released alert emails touting the company.
InsideBulls, OTC Stock Exchange and Whisper from Wall Street have been quite active in past weeks. This time they received the usual compensation of $3000 for InsideBulls and $5000 for WFWS Consulting Inc., parent company of the other two pumpers. They must have had a pretty tough job finding anything praiseworthy about the company which led them to only mention that GRNE is generating revenues. We must admit that this fact is not so common in the land of pennystocks and that is why we decided to take a look for ourselves at their financials.
Imagine our surprise when we saw the OTC Pink Limited Information symbol on the company’s profile. They have been skipping filing reports for some time now. The latest one is a quarterly report submitted to OTCmarkets on April 4, 2013 and is for the period ending September 30, 2012. Back then they had:
- $144 thousand cash
- $293 total current assets
- $1.5 million total current liabilities
- $780 thousand revenues
- $140 thousand net loss
Not as dismal a picture as one might think looking at how their stock has been performing. The two hair saloons operated by the company are almost turning a profit. Due to a recent press release where GRNE announced unaudited revenues of $313,626 for the month of March and the current promotion the ticker may finally receive attention from the market.
All three of the pumpers were touting VizStar, Inc. (OTCMKTS:VIZS) just a day ago and before that, with the exception of InsideBulls, they took part in the disastrous campaign for Technologies Scan Corp. (OTCMKTS:TENP).
GRNE certainly has potential and at the current underpriced levels may undergo a considerable spike. But the inherent volatility of sub-penny stocks requires doing your own research before committing to any trades.
