Seychelle Environmental Technologies (OTCMKTS:SYEV) Moving Up Again
[[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 1]]After Seychelle Environmental Technologies (OTCMKTS:SYEV) didn’t manage to attract a lot of investor attention throughout the first half of the year we saw the ticker suddenly catch investors’ eyes after filing their report for the quarter ended May 31, 2015 back in July.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]The ticker had been slowly climbing the charts for most of 2015, but the report finally brought some healthy volumes to the stock. The reason was that it was full of promising numbers. Still, the hype quickly went away and as the volumes dropped so did the price of the company stock.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Fortunately for the shareholders that kept their cool it came a time for the next quarterly report. It was filed late in Friday’s afternoon and contained even more promising numbers recorded in the period ended August 31, 2015.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 13]] [[tagnumber 14]]cash: $1.68 million[[tagnumber 15]] [[tagnumber 14]]current assets: $4.17 million[[tagnumber 15]] [[tagnumber 14]]current liabilities: $247 thousand[[tagnumber 15]] [[tagnumber 14]]quarterly revenues: $2.72 million[[tagnumber 15]] [[tagnumber 14]]quarterly net loss: $515 thousand[[tagnumber 15]] [[tagnumber 24]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 28]]SYEV[[tagnumber 29]] is one of very few companies that are traded on the OTC marketplace that has made progress which is obvious by the numbers contained in its financial reports. We see that the cash positions have been strengthened and the liabilities have been reduced compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the revenues and the net income is growing.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Another thing that sets [[tagnumber 28]]SYEV[[tagnumber 29]] apart is the fact that it doesn’t suffer from toxic debt. The only thing that the ticker suffers is the lack of investor interest. The market cap of the company isn’t that big when you compare it to other OTC entities with far less to show, yet trading is very slow.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]And while the company stock gained 27.50% in Monday’s session and added another 11.76% to its value yesterday we see that [[tagnumber 28]]SYEV[[tagnumber 29]] might return to being highly illiquid. As the ticker was reaching for a close at $0.57 yesterday we saw a total of 168 thousand shares change their owners and generate $84 thousand in daily dollar volume, more than half it registered in the first sessions of the week.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]This is certainly something that you should keep in mind as you may be left with shares you can’t trade if you jump in now. As always, be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out the risks before making any trading decisions.[[tagnumber 2]]
