The Pump Goes On and On for Great American Energy Inc (OTC:SRBL)
It has been roughly two weeks since third party Lake Group Media, Inc. started splashing out thousands of dollars on paid promotional services in support of Great American Energy Inc (OTC:SRBL). Having already suffered a dismal failure, Lake Group Media is now in for yet another promotional run on the same stock showing no signs of slowing down.
We already covered the most essential moments of the ongoing pump in four distinctive articles on SRBL. While the launch of the pump effort on Feb. 19 was accompanied by an ambitious press release outlining SRBL‘s grand exploration plans on a Canadian rare earth property, there have been no back-up news for the last 14 days. Looking at the company’s most recent financials, we see why.
Apart from the $6 thousand of cash, SRBL has no current assets at hand, which raises concern with regard to its potentail to turn plans into action. Even though SRBL relies upon a special report hinting that the property supposedly contains considerable deposits of rare earths, the company would still need much more than the six thousand dollars on its bank account to get the ball rolling on-site. How exactly the company will attract the external capital it so desperately needs is not quite clear at the moment. Given the lack of financial back-up, equity financing is always an option, yet it would hardly align with the interests of current shareholders.
So why have the guys at Lake Group Media so passionately embraced the cause to ramp up the market value of SRBL no matter what? Needless to say, they must have a vested interest in such a scenario. Considering that they won’t give up trying, the stakes must be high. Of course, we can’t help but speculate with SRBL‘s case since the company has not submitted any filings regarding recent insider transactions with the SEC.
One thing is for sure, though. Two weeks ago, the promotional campaign in support of SRBL got off to a bad start and the new effort will hardly work wonders, either.
