The Wall Street Buzz Starts Buzzing Around Vidaroo Corp (PINK:VIDA)
If you take a look at the recent chart performance of Vidaroo Corp (PINK:VIDA), you will have little ground to feel excited. The stock is dropping like a stone and nothing seems to be able to stop it….except for a classical promotion.
Indeed, there is a paid pump job in support of the stock today led by The Penny Stock Professor, on the one hand, and Access Media Network Corp. (AMNC) through its subsidiaries The WallStreet Buzz and WallStreet Hottest Stocks. The former got paid $10,000, while the latter only got $5,000 for their efforts provided by third party ODD Marketing. Are these pumps going to make a change, though?
Let’s take a look at some of AMNC’s historical pumps to find out what we can expect here. For example, when the Corp ran a promotion on NightCulture Inc (OTC:NGHT) on Mar. 26, it increased investors’ interest in the stock but eventually failed to give its market value a boost as NGHT shares lost 18% by the end of the session. The same goes for Southern Products Inc (OTC:SNPD). When SNPD shares got a promotional injection by AMNC on Mar. 13, they suffered an immediate pullback of 10%.
As it seems, VIDA‘s downfall on the charts started last week at around the same time as the company’s press release outlining the management’s intention to embark on a massive marketing campaign for its cloud-based video publishing technology. What is more, a brand-new press release laying heavy emphasis on a direct marketing campaign has just come out, as well. The campaign is supposed to “feature incentives to encourage customers” to check out VIDA‘s proprietary technology in question. The company’s representative have not specified what incentives exactly they will use over the course of the marketing program.
Nevertheless, the guys at ODD Marketing seem to believe that they could ride on the marketing wave and reap benefits thereof by subjecting DIVA shares to a full-fledged promotion. The only problem, however, is that the company’s pompous declarations for increased marketing efforts have done nothing but ruined the stock for the last few sessions. In this respect, we do not see how exactly a paid pump will succeed in bringing the downtrend to a halt. At least, the company’s managers appear to be running the company from a fairly cosy place surrounded by a picturesque landscape (see accompanying picture).
