U.S. Precious Metals, Inc. (OTCMKTS:USPR) Showing Positive Movement
[[tagnumber 0]][[tagnumber 1]]The last time that we wrote about U.S. Precious Metals, Inc. (OTCMKTS:USPR) was a little over a year ago and the ticker has been having a hard time since then. It has been sliding down the charts and dropped below the 10 cent mark several months ago, digging to new depths.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]After a 17.38% loss in Thursday last week we saw [[tagnumber 6]]USPR[[tagnumber 7]] drop to a new 52–week low of $0.0252 per share and the volumes were still pretty small. Then we saw the ticker surge and gain a whopping 66.67% in value during Friday’s trading that came for no apparent reason.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Maybe some investors had decided that this was as low as [[tagnumber 6]]USPR[[tagnumber 7]] can go and managed to push the price without the aid of press releases of paid promotions. Meanwhile, the results that the company recorded in its latest quarterly report aren’t that impressive.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 17]] [[tagnumber 18]]cash: $117 thousand[[tagnumber 19]] [[tagnumber 18]]current assets: $349 thousand[[tagnumber 19]] [[tagnumber 18]]current liabilities: $4.63 million[[tagnumber 19]] [[tagnumber 18]]revenues: ZERO[[tagnumber 19]] [[tagnumber 18]]net loss: $101 thousand[[tagnumber 19]] [[tagnumber 28]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Do keep in mind that, as we wrote in our previous article, [[tagnumber 6]]USPR’s[[tagnumber 7]] management was expecting the company to start generating revenues in the first quarter of 2015. It’s obvious that we are far past that and things aren’t looking that well.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]Still, some optimistic PR was able to push [[tagnumber 6]]USPR[[tagnumber 7]] further up the charts in the beginning of this week. Yesterday the ticker gained some 18.33% in value and finished the day with a price of $0.0497 while a total of 3.67 million traded shares generated $167 thousand in daily dollar volume.[[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]] [[tagnumber 2]] [[tagnumber 0]]It doesn’t seem like the trend will continue, however, as we already see [[tagnumber 6]]USPR[[tagnumber 7]] trading in the red in today’s session. In any case, you should be sure to do your due diligence and weigh out the risks before putting any money on the line.[[tagnumber 2]]
