Vapor Brands International, Inc. (OTCMKTS:VAPR) Continues Climb on Strong Momentum
Vapor Brands International, Inc. (OTCMKTS:VAPR) is having a strong streak which has all the promise to continue in the new week. On Friday, VAPR added a further 36% to $0.356, on buying volumes above $903,000. On Monday, the ticker continued upward, rounding the 40-cent levels with buying in the early trading hours.
The success of VAPR hinges on its promise to combine its business with Hemp, Inc. and apply its knowledge in electronic cigarette technologies with the wider spreading of medical cannabis. VAPR plans to keep both its conventional products and add the new delivery method through its subsidiary, Marijuana, Inc.
Investors’ forums are highly optimistic, as VAPR has a relatively low 70-million shares outstanding, and its market cap remains low at $24 million. There is no current email promotion, which means the rise of VAPR would be more natural- but still, the ticker is supported by rather robust enthusiasm, both for the sector as a whole and for its separate case. There are expectations VAPR would easily reach the dollar level, and later go up even to $5. For that promise, VAPR reveals the following financial results:
- cash: $10 thousand
- current assets: $26 thousand
- current liabilities: $217 thousand
- quarterly revenues: $326
- accumulated deficit: $5.7 million
But tales of uplisting have been heard about other selections, predicting even uplisting to a wider exchange. So far, few pot stocks have managed more than a few days of such exuberance without reverting to much lower prices.
GreenGro Technologies, Inc. (OTCMKTS:GRNH) had a run resembling that of VAPR, only to stall at 80 cents and drop precipitously. Now, GRNH drifts sideways around the 40-cent levels, with alternating days of moderate growth and falls. The Monday opening came with a positive movement toward $0.44.
Another strong mover, Terra Tech Corp. (OTCBB:TRTC), which also received wide attention and even mainstream mentions, is in the same price range. TRTC touched $0.43 cents on Monday, as its rise has seen less cuts compared to GRNH.
In the past month, pot stocks came in in various price ranges. Few tickers command dollar prices, and almost every day a new arrival at below the penny level manages to spike, only to fizzle out later. While more expensive tickers hold out a bit longer, price is no guarantee for stability even within a period of a few days. So while VAPR holds promise now, it is best to avoid it unless you can afford to see your investment wiped out.
